Sandra Jane Maidwell

Hi, and welcome to my website. I've been writing stories in my head since the age of six, and have been lucky enough to put a few down on paper. I'm constantly busy with my new characters and I can't wait to introduce them to you. Right now, Bobby, a handsome movie star in love with a mystery girl he only sees in his dreams, is my latest protagonists. And you will soon meet Valerie, a brave orphan trying to save her friends from a terrible future of global warming, by finding her grandfather's time machine in the mountains of New York.

 

I currently spend my time between my birthplace, St. Maarten (a small island in the Caribbean), and the mountains of Panama. I live with my husband and three children and quite a few animals. We've gone through everything from Chinchillas to ducks and guinea pigs.

 

I still haven't decided if I prefer the mountains, or the white beaches and turqoise waters of St. Maarten. I consider myself very lucky to have grown up on an island, and I attribute my imagination to all the freedom and free time I had to just be myself. I don't consider myself a traveler, but I have lived in many countries: England, Spain, Portugal, Panama, and the Caribbean. Each place has been unique and the friends I've made along the way are the jewels I carry in my heart.
